This sprawling farmhouse with views of a 75-acre wetland preserve originally evolved over three separate building stages. Our fourth stage involved a complete renovation of the existing structures along with additions of 2,850 square feet. The front roof lines and porches were altered to provide a hierarchy among the pieces and a clear sense of entrance. We raised the roof of the oldest portion of the house to create a full-height second story. The great room, sunroom, summer living room, and guest apartment additions maintain the original rambling character of the farm house.
